Finally, after over 8 years, the character I created after completing Kingdom Hearts 2 has a design and story! Here's a bit of info on her.
Mariko is on a search. After one day finding herself in Twilight Town, she realized she was alone, separated from hr brother and their friend. She befriended Hayner, Pence, Olette, Roxas and made a home for herself in Twilight Town, though nothing felt exactly the same as her former home. Loneliness is quick to set in...until one day, she notices strange creatures lurking and following her. They remind Mariko of the creatures that used to terrorize her as a child, the Unversed. But surprisingly, one of the pale monsters - the Dusks - starts speaking, and she befriends it. Little does she know that meeting the Dusk was just the beginning of her search.
How is it the Dusk protects Mariko instead of attacking her? What are these powers she's obtained? Why does she feel she is living between existences, in a purgatory-like state? What is her involvement with Organization XIII and the Keyblade wielders?
Formerly shy and fearful of the outside world, Mariko can now take control of almost any situation she's involved in. The Usual Spot gang considers her their 'second in command' to Hayner, as well as a formidable Struggle battler. She balances the group out, providing an equal balance of chaos and peace. Mariko keeps most of her previous life hidden from her friends, though, and shuts down when her brother is mentioned. She currently resides with Olette and her family, whom she's lived with ever since finding herself lost in Twilight Town.
